A Christmas UP-ROL
This project is the definition of something starting small and ending up as a full scale short film.
UP Hellas wanted to create a Christmas story inspired by "A Christmas Carol", but with a twist. This was initially meant to be a small and simple video, but we advised that if the goal was to create something character driven, the best approach was to fully deliver the goods. And so we did.
“A Christmas Up-roll” follows a grumpy boss through a transformational experience in which he discovers that his employees do not like him as much as he believed. Throughout the story, he is visited by three ghosts who show him how his employees’ lives could be if he allowed them to thrive. Upon waking up, he decides to take action, and the film concludes with a sweet moment of recognition.
Not to mention that the Up team is not only great professionals but also exceptional actors, as the whole concept of this film was to be enacted by the very employees of Up Hellas itself! (And what a great performance they gave).
